Muslim Lifestyle ExpoDon’t know about you guys but we had such a blast at Muslim Lifestyle Expo (MLE) in October, met so many of you guys, some faces we had met before and a lot of new faces too. We enjoy meeting our customers, you inspire us and if anything give us ideas too! Alhumdulillah we feel very lucky that we have so much support.

As well as customers, it’s always nice to meet past and new stallholders and other business owners. We felt privileged when Saleha Bagas and her husband visited the stall and complimented our products (inside my head I was screaming with excitement, exterior cool, calm and collected). They were both so humble, do check out Saleha’s work.

Saai Time Pieces were situated next to us (check them out, they have some amazing watches), they were so friendly and for a company at the beginning of their journey they appeared to be so committed…Wish we could name all of them but pay close attention to these guys for original items Nuhr Home, The Prayer Mat Company, Chic Desserts, Tiffin and Tea and Ibraheem Toy House. May Allah SWT make their businesses a success and take them where they want to with it (although not to a hot country…I want to go…only joking), Aameen.

It wouldn’t be fair for me to take credit for the whole event. Without our staff, I’m not sure we would be able to make any of these events. We have Ashif a.k.a. control freak and the MAIN designer (usually looks stressed). Ashif along with Rizwan (the one that looks like a Maulana, MaashaAllah (I daren’t laugh)) take the lead and are the big bosses (or so they think)! There’s also Shabbir, Suhayl, Abdullah (Uncle Jee), Zunaid and Habib – they help set up the day before, sell, sell, sell and help with packing up. They do this all in their spare time. And then there’s the wives and children (thought it was meant to be women and children first (roll eyes) should’ve mentioned them before) who every weekend leading up to the event, help with designing, printing, ironing, tagging, putting the frames together and packing! A massive JazakAllahuKhairun to the whole team…we owe you one (well, you’ll have to get it past Rizwan and Ashif first…heehee…Good luck)!

It took us a few days to recover after the Muslim Lifestyle Expo, however we are now back and full of ideas which we cannot wait to share with you! InshaAllah we will see you again soon but in the mean time, make sure you are following us on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, just so you don’t miss anything 🙂
